Stop Idaho RINOs Announces Leadership Transition to New Chairperson

Boise/Twin Falls, Idaho – June 15, 2026 – Stop Idaho RINOs, the grassroots political action committee focused on exposing and defeating Republicans In Name Only (RINOs) in Idaho, today announced a leadership transition.

Effective June 15, 2026, Cierra Clarke of Twin Falls will become the new chairperson of the organization.

Cierra Clarke currently serves as Chair of Moms for Liberty for the Magic Valley. Moms for Liberty is a nationwide parental rights organization dedicated to fighting for transparency and accountability in public education while protecting children from inappropriate ideologies and policies in the classroom. Clarke is a dedicated mother, former aspiring teacher, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

Her work has centered on protecting parental rights and bringing greater accountability to Idaho’s schools. Under her leadership, the Magic Valley chapter blew the whistle on the Twin Falls School District School Board for using taxpayer dollars to advocate for RINOs, exposing how entrenched politics and special interests undermine local education governance.

John Heida, founder of Stop Idaho RINOs, shared the following:

“Stop Idaho RINOs was founded in 2022 with a simple two-part mission:

1. Make sure Greg Chaney loses his election.
2. Hold Idaho Republicans accountable when they govern and vote like Democrats.

In the years since, we have punched well above our weight, accomplishing things that have some of Idaho’s biggest RINOs complaining to this day, and I consider that a badge of honor.

Beginning in late 2025, several new projects demanded the bulk of my attention, and I began looking for the right person to carry this work forward. After consulting with people I trust, Cierra rose to the top. I am confident she is the right leader for this next chapter, and Stop Idaho RINOs is in great hands.”

Cierra Clarke said, “I want to continue bringing awareness to local elections by informing the public exactly how our supposed Republican legislators are voting. Slowly the Republican Party is being transitioned into a moderate, left-leaning organization where anything to the right of that is labeled as extremism. We need to reclaim our party and return it to its traditional roots.”

Since its founding, Stop Idaho RINOs has served as a watchdog in Idaho politics by publishing legislative scorecards, endorsing strong conservative candidates in Republican primaries, and mobilizing activists against moderate incumbents and establishment priorities.
