Attacking the party chairman who did not mention your organization is not a n appropriate response. You’re driving wedges where too many already exist. This could have been written in a calm reasoned manner highlighting the advantages of your system and organization without any signs of infighting. I’m disappointed to say the least.

But everyone that is in the know, knows exactly who she was talking about. There is only one AI scorecard using the platform as it's metric. She should've thought before she spoke. It's her fault, not ours. I'm disappointed in your take, to say the least.

Q: What's the difference between a legislator reading a bill and an AI reading it?

A: There's a solid chance that the AI actually read through the whole bill...

Stop Idaho RINOs's avatar

We know of many legislators who are using AI to read the bills and have it print out a summary for them. Most are doing this. Dorothy knows this.

Steve Moore's avatar

Would you provide a list of those using AI instead of reading the bills?

Tha About page on your website says "Stop Idaho RINOs is run by a group of conservatives, all living here in Idaho."

I'd like to know the names of the folks involved in this "group of conservatives" before I decide to donate. Thank you.

Stop Idaho RINOs's avatar

I tried to email you but it came back to me as undeliverable.

It would be nice to know who is behind Stop Idaho RINOs. I wouldn't want to see your organization hide like Party Watch or many of the Gov's PACs

Stop Idaho RINOs's avatar

Our PAC is listed on the SOS website. There is no secrecy. Several of our members care not to be listed due to fear of retribution from RINOs and such.

John, we have to be careful with AI. I use Grok and ChatGPT so I don’t have to read a lot of information to get up to speed on questions that I have. AI is great for helping me troubleshoot, mechanical problems, etc. But when it comes to politics or religion. I will challenge AI if I have a different opinion. I noticed that it’s a back-and-forth and AI definitely has opinions so in the end I go with my gut and my own opinion after the facts have been laid out. I’m guessing that you operate likewise, obtaining the facts and checking them after AI gives them to you. In the end, the human element enters in and you go with your own gut. I use the DuckDuckGo browser AI sometimes and it’s not as good as Grok. On three instances that AI admitted that I was right and it was wrong.

I appreciate your comments. We have 3 large language models (chatgpt is not one of them because it isn't very good at it) that need to come to an agreement, or it gets rated neutral. We have checks and balances in place for this, and as I stated in this article, it'll be printed out for the world to see.

I think your one-man operation is better than the IDGOP at battling the RINO problem.

Stop Idaho RINOs's avatar

That is a great compliment.

The ONLY reason why people dislike scorecards is they don’t like the results. It’s easy for a legislator to hide their votes because like you said, who has time to read every bill. Legislators know this and like it that way. Scorecards hold them accountable and most don’t want that.

Message to legislators that don’t like their scores…. VOTE BETTER!

Stop Idaho RINOs's avatar

The more information that people have the better. IACI's scorecard is good information to have. Do I like their methods and results? Absolutely not. But I'm glad I have it. I don't understand why this is so hard.

Steve Moore's avatar

You were not singled out! As she pointed out almost every group has their own scorecard. In my opinion EVERY scorecard is skewed to the groups ideology, whether conservative or liberal. Scorecards are merely tools for one to educate themselves on current legislation and legislators. AI only uses the information that has been inputted into the system. Not always trustworthy.

Stop Idaho RINOs's avatar

She never mentioned us by name, but it was 100% aimed at our scorecard. We are the only AI scorecard in Idaho and we are the only one basing it on the GOP Platform. Our scorecard uses 3 large language models that must agree on if the legislation (or changes in legislation) works with each article in the GOP Platform. There is no other information it gets. If the 3 can't agree it gets rated neutral. It's pretty simple and very reliable.

Steve Moore's avatar

OK, if you are only using AI then I can agree that part of her comments were directed at your group. As I understood what she said there are many scorecards, many points of view. How many should be used? How do you pick the most reliable scorecard to use. I tend to pick human over machine. Now I have never seen or heard about your scorecard until now.

Elena Quinn's avatar

I’ve tried using AI to analyze bills. It’s not magic, and it often tells you what it thinks you want to hear. When I do my own analysis, I don’t always get the same results. That’s why an AI-only scorecard shouldn’t be treated as gospel.

What’s disappointing is watching this turn into personal attacks. Calling a solid conservative a “lackey” because they question the method is childish and divisive. We already have enough of that.

We don’t need to agree on every tool or tactic to be united on principles. This isn’t how adults build a movement.

Stop Idaho RINOs's avatar

By the way, have you mentioned that all to Dorothy?

Elena Quinn's avatar

I don’t believe she attacked you personally. Only the method. There’s a difference.

Stop Idaho RINOs's avatar

Except she knows, I know, and many others know exactly who she was referring to. But really, that doesn't even matter. What matters is that she was trying to gatekeep. Are you ok with that? You like people to tell you what you can and can't use for gathering data?

Stop Idaho RINOs's avatar

It's of the utmost importance in what parameters you give it otherwise it could be all over the place.

I searched the SOS web site entering Stop Idaho Rinos, Stop Idaho and Stop. There is no mention of this organization. I even called SOS, talked to an employee who searched and confirmed "Stop Idaho Rinos" is not listed in their database. One of the commenters here indicated you are a one man operation. You said there are a "group of conservatives" involved. I don't have a problem with your method of creating a scorecard, but without information about who is behind it, I am not comfortable donating.

Stop Idaho RINOs's avatar

Looks under PACs, it's not a business. Send me your email address. info@stopidahorinos.com

Steve Moore's avatar

I did search PAC's also with the results of No Data Available. Can you/will you provide the link?

Mary Swoboda's avatar

Post your email here and I will respond in an email.

Never mind. I see it posted below.
